Without doubting

                                           … in faith in Him!

So Jesus answered and said to them,
“Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you,
whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea’,
and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things
      he says will be done
, he will have whatever he says.
      Mark 11:22-23

Jesus told us that if we have faith in God,
and say to the mountain (the problem or adversity we are facing)
‘be removed and be cast into the sea’
… we will have what we say!
However Jesus also said there is a condition,
‘not doubting in your heart,
but believing those things we say will be done’
.

Why did Jesus tell us
… ‘to not doubt in our heart, but believe those things we say’?

Jesus was telling us to do what God does when He acts in faith.
What is it that God does?
God sees what He says as manifesting!
God pictures what He speaks in faith, as DONE!
… That is what happened to that fig tree!
In other words, it is not just believing God’s Word,
… but it is seeing what you believe as manifest!
God’s Word does not make the picture, your faith does,
… and it is that picture, in faith in Him, that He manifests!

That is what Jesus also said to His disciples,
Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose
and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
      Matt 8:26

They pictured themselves as drowning … Jesus saw peace!
What picture from God’s Word are you putting your faith in?

Faith in …

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in Covenant, Faith, Trust

                                                         His faithfulness!

Faith is not about what I can do or believe,
… faith is about what God can do!

I have faith that God will do what He said He will do,
… because that is Who He is, Love!
I have faith in the One who is,
… and Who is a rewarder of those who seek Him,
      … who seek Love Himself!
I have faith in His faithfulness!

I have faith in the Father who answered Moses,
when asked, ‘Tell me who you are?’

“I AM WHO I AM.” And He said,
“Thus you shall say to the children of Israel,
‘I AM has sent me to you.'”
      Exodus 3:14

I AM all that you need, and what you need, I AM!
Therefore all it takes is
believing that God can do what He said,
and that God will do what He said.
In other words,

      Have faith in God.
For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain,
‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt
in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done,
he will have whatever he says.
Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray,
believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
      Mark 11:22-24

And how will those things be done?
… by God who is the great I AM!
Great is His faithfulness!

… for Your love

                                                         … thank you!

Thank You Father for Your love,
… that You loved me so much You sent Jesus
… to make the way back to You possible for me!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
      John 3:16

Thank You Father for Your love,
… for sending the Holy Spirit to be with me,
… and to fill me with Your love!

Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been
poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
      Rom 5:5

Thank You Father for Your love,
… that has been perfected in me,
… that I can boldly face the future in Your love!

Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness
in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
      1 John 4:17

Thank You Father for Your love,
… that You have re-created me in Your image,
… Your image that is love!
and because of that I can love you!

We love Him because He first loved us.
      1 John 4:19

Thank You Father for Your love,
… that caused You to say of me,

      Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
      He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.
      Ps 91:14-16

Ask in faith

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in Expectations, Faith, Trust

                                                           … believing!

When we think of faith,
… we normally mean that we believe God,
and in particular,
that we are believing God for something!

There is nothing wrong with that,
however too often what we’re believing for,
… does not manifest the way we expect!

Could it be that the problem is not faith, or the lack of it,
… but that it is about what we are believing,
in other words, our motif or expectation?

When we go to God, in faith,
… about a need we may have,
… or a promise in His Word,
what are we believing, what are we expecting?
      God or the promise?

If we are truly honest,
… we expect the answer to manifest,
that what we have asked of God, will be done!

Maybe that is why the book of Hebrews tells us,
… for he who comes to God must believe that He is,
… and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
         Heb. 11:6

What or who are you believing,
God’s promises or God, the provider of those promises?
What or who are you seeking,
God’s reward or God Himself?

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.  (Matt. 6:33)
He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.    (Heb. 11:6)

How do you love God?

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in Life, Love, Relationship

… by allowing Him to love you!

How do you love God?
by allowing Him to love you!

We love Him because He first loved us.
      1 John 4:19

God loved us even before we knew Him,
… and He still loves us despite our deeds or failures.
As Scripture tells us …

“love will cover a multitude of sins.”
      1 Peter 4:8

But, unless we open our lives to God’s love
… so that He can love us,
God cannot shower us with His goodness
… because we are not where He can love us.

And we have known and believed the love
that God has for us. God is love, and
he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.
      1 John 4:16

We have to open ourselves, our lives to God,
so that He can love us,
and enable us to love others they way He does.

Love has been perfected among us in this:
      that we may have boldness in the day of judgment;
because as He is, so are we in this world.
      …
We love Him because He first loved us.
      …
And this commandment we have from Him:
that he who loves God must love his brother also.
      1 John 4:17,19,21

If you can believe

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in Faith, Trust, Value

                                 … all things are possible!

If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.
      Mark 9:23

What do you believe?
that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus
and believe in your heart that God has raised Him
from the dead, you will be saved.
      Rom 10:9

Then there is nothing that stops you from getting saved,
… because Jesus has already done it.
All you need do is to receive!

What do you believe?
      But He was wounded for our transgressions;
      He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
and by His stripes we are healed.
      Isa 53:5

Then there is nothing you can do to get healed,
BUT to receive what Jesus has already done!

      You can only receive
… what you believe is already done and available,

because if you are waiting for what is still to be done,
      … you may wait forever!
But if you believe in what He has already done for you,
… and step out in faith on His word,
… according to His instruction (which always is based on love)
      What is done will manifest.

What God has promised, and what Jesus came to do … is done!
You can’t get them to do it again.
However, as James wrote, you have to act on what you believe,

For as the body without the spirit is dead,
so faith without works is dead also.
      James 2:26

Waiting faith will have the same results – waiting results!
Acting faith on the other hand – has active results!
STOP waiting to act on what you believe,
Receive and get ready for the manifestation.

Binding & Loosing

… His will in your life!

Jesus made this statement about why He came to earth,

I have come that they may have life,
and that they may have it more abundantly.
      John 10:10

And, that for this to be a reality in our lives,
He also told us how to get things on this earth to work God’s way,
… saying,

      Assuredly, I say to you,
whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven,
and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
      Matt 18:18

Yes, God wants us to be abundantly blessed, yet Jesus also told us
that whatever happens in our lives, is in our hands, not His!
Because in the end it’s about what we bind and what we loose!

Therefore, if God’s blessings are not manifesting in our lives,
… we need to look at what we are binding and what we are loosing!

Are you binding God’s hands in your life?
or…
Are you loosing God’s hands in your life?

For God’s blessings are not going to happen in your life
… because you’ve told God what you want,
… and going around binding and loosing everything.
But it is going to happen
… when you bind satan’s operations, and
when you loose God’s word, His plans & His purposes!

Therefore, be sure you get to know God’s will for and in your life,
… so you can effectively pray and loose God’s plans for you,
and so that God can do His perfect will in your life!

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you,
you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
      John 15:7

Who do you say

Posted on Leave a commentPosted in Covenant, Potential, Relationship

                                                            … that I am?

Jesus often asked His disciples questions,
… although He knew what they knew!
So why did Jesus ask His disciples questions?

Well, let’s have a look at one of those questions,
… and probably the most important question he ever asked them.

Now Jesus and His disciples went out to the towns of
Caesarea Philippi; and on the road He asked His disciples,
saying to them, “Who do men say that I am?
      So they answered, “John the Baptist; but some say, Elijah;
and others, one of the prophets.”
      …
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?
Peter answered and said to Him, “You are the Christ.”
      Mark 8:27-29

Jesus was teaching His disciples that,
… it is not important what others say,
… but what is important is what you say.
Jesus wanted them to realize that,
God can only be as big in your life – as you see Him.
God can only do for you – what you believe He is able to do.
God can only bless you – if you are ready to receive from Him.

Our relationship with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit,
… is either personal or there is no relationship!
It does not matter what others think,
… and whether they are right or wrong.
“But who do you say that I am?”

We all have to have a personal revelation of who Jesus is, otherwise
… how will He be real in our lives, and
… how will we be able to show Him to others!

What is not alive in us,
… we cannot live and we cannot share!

Part of your decisions

Posted on 2 CommentsPosted in Challenge, Life, Trust

                                               … and in your life!

Do I really have to decide?
Can’t I just let things happen and let God’s will be done?

No! You have to decide!
God gave you a free will,
so like it or not,
… you have to make decisions!
And, not only do you have to make decisions,
you have to take the responsibility for your decisions!

I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you,
      that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing;
      therefore (you) choose life,
      Deut 30:19

Doesn’t God have the last say anyway?
No, you have …
but you should make God part of your decision,
… and always make all decisions with Him, with God.

Unless you make God part of the decision,
… He cannot be part of the provision,
Unless you make God part of the decision,
… He won’t be part of the outcome of the decision.

For only if you make Him part of the decision,
… can God direct your steps to the right way,
… can God provide what is necessary along the way,
and honour your decision to honour Him!

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you,
you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.
      John 15:7

A Perfect Plan

And God said, let us …

Some time before the foundation of the earth (or thereabouts),
the Father said to Jesus,
I want to have some children of my own!
Jesus looked at the Father saying,
That is a super idea, but if they are to be children of yours,
they are going to have to be real special!

You are right,  the Father replied,
and that is why I plan that they should be just like you, Jesus!
Jesus smiled,
That’s wonderful! However Father, have you given it enough thought,
because for them to truly be children of yours,
they are going to have to be able to decide for themselves!

The Father nodded,
Yes I know, giving them a free will could be tricky,
but unless we do it that way, there is no reason to do it!

Jesus said,
Well I think it is a great plan and a wonderful opportunity to live love
… Agape, the very thing that you are Father!

Yes! the Father replied excitedly,
Let’s do it, let’s express what is in us, because what is in us is the fullness of life,
and is more than enough to be able to counter any challenge.

I like that, Jesus added,
and I will be there to help you make it possible Father!
Just then the Holy Spirit interrupted them saying,
Do you realize how unpredictable children are?
Yes we do,
they answered.
And, the Holy Spirit continued, do you realize what it takes to raise children,
to teach them to make the right decisions, and to stand by those decisions?

Yes we do, they answered, and that is why we have decided to give you the job!
What job? the Holy Spirit asked surprised.
The job, the Father replied, to help, teach, guide and show our children,
not just what to do and to choose, but also those things to come,
so that they will be prepared for life, and so they will know
how to receive life and walk in the fullness of life,
that life that Jesus will restore to them when they fail!

The Holy Spirit smiled and said,
I thought there was a catch somewhere,
but I still think it is a great plan!

Having thus agreed together, God said …
Let Us make man in Our image and according to Our likeness …!
      Genesis 1:26
