A God of Increase

                          What have you planted today?

So often you hear it said,
‘Why is God not doing anything in our lives?’
In Gen 2:2 we read…

And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done,
and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done.

God had done and prepared everything necessary
… for man and man’s life on earth,
and in Gen 1:31 God Himself observed that
‘indeed it was very good!’

So, what is God doing today?
And what part do I have in His plan?

God ‘made’ man out of the dust of this earth, (Gen 2:7)
In other words, God took what He had already created,
… and used that as the source of man’s physical body and existence.
Then God breathed His spirit life into man,
… and man became a living soul.

This man, connected and empowered in the spirit by God,
… was to live and develop the earth out of what God had created (on earth).
Then God showed man where He put all the necessary resources,
… resources for man to use and to develop (Gen 2:8…)
so that man could live a full rich life (in abundance)
… developing and overseeing God’s creation, for Him.

How does this work?
While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest,
      Gen 8:22

So what is God’s part?
God is a God of Increase, (1Cor.3:6-8)
and He will bless what we do with what He gave us to do.

The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses
and in all to which you set your hand,

      Deut 28:1-8

As we do, plant, develop and create with Him,
God will increase and multiply what we set our hands to!
